About me

When it comes to reading (and writing), I’m drawn to characters who refuse to do what we expect of them, and plots that break the rules. If a story feels a little ‘too safe’, I really want to shake it up a bit.

When I’m not at my desk writing (or working the day job), I can usually be found exploring some windswept corner of the UK (the raw and rugged North West Coast of Cornwall is one of my favourite haunts), trying to improve my painting, or helping out at a charity that means a great deal to me.

But whatever I’m doing, my heart is always in the world of the Threads series. I’m currently working on Book Two, and I’m very much enjoying pushing my characters into even more trouble than they got themselves into in Fractured Threads.
